Today’s action is to take a deep breath and reflect on what we would like to accomplish. Please read and share the following by an Indivisible member for perspective on how important it is to have a personal plan-

The Day You Chose to Stand—A Reflection on Action and Legacy
Take a deep breath. Close your eyes. Imagine yourself years from now, looking back on this moment in history. You will either feel the sense of pride and accomplishment for having stood up when it mattered most, or the gnawing regret of knowing you could have done more while Trump and Elon Musk tested their power, pushing the limits of authoritarianism and plutocracy.
The time to act is now. Today is a day for reflection, but not for inaction. It is a day to ask yourself—how do you want to be involved? What matters most to you? Because make no mistake, the decisions we make today will define not just our own futures, but the future of democracy itself, and our actions will be the legacy of our commitment to our convictions. This war is one that will be fought online, and it is a war for the hearts and minds of the people around us. Those at the top would have us believe that our war is with each other. A battle of “left vs. right”, but we are not fighting each other, despite many on the right believing so. We are fighting to sustain our country, our families and the way of life that millions have fought and died for over the course of our nation’s history. It is important we not let their deaths be in vain, and that our Democracy and Republic survive this onslaught from within.
The Power of Fear—And Why It Doesn’t Belong to Us
Fear is a powerful weapon, and Trump and Musk know this. They wield it strategically, creating a climate of uncertainty, division, and intimidation. But here’s the truth they don’t want you to realize: it is not us who should be afraid—it is them.
Why? Because an informed, united, and mobilized people are their greatest threat. Fear is the only thing keeping many from taking action, but the irony of fear is this: we often hesitate to act because we fear losing what we hold dear, yet if we do nothing, those things will be taken from us anyway. Immigrant families have already felt the sting of losing their security, their peace, their stability. If we do not act, we are next. By now we have also seen the uncertainty these actions are causing among their supporters on the right. The gloating is slowing to a halt, and now only the most radicalized of their supporters are championing their message. Now is the time to remind people that if we’re to have integrity as people, then we need to stand together against technocratic billionaire’s sacking our institutions, and the billionaire class subjugating the other classes by removing their opportunities to live the American Dream.
From Reflection to Action—What Will You Do?
Today, take a moment to ask yourself: Where do I stand? What will I do? The actions you take today—joining our movement, sharing daily actions, mobilizing your friends, speaking out—will determine whether we succumb to the forces trying to control us or whether we rise together and push back.
This isn’t just about one issue. It’s about every issue that defines our democracy—human rights, economic fairness, environmental protection, and the fundamental principle that no one person should have unchecked power over us.
A Legacy of Resistance
In the years to come, we will tell the story of this moment. Will your story be one of courage, conviction, and standing on the right side of history? Or will it be one of hesitation, watching as others fought the battles you wished you had joined?
Take these Actions Today:
- Reflect on your role in this movement.
- Overcome fear—recognize it as their tool, not ours.
- Get involved—join our Discord, share today’s action, and mobilize your community.
- Be vocal—support the issues that matter most to you.
We are the power they fear. Let’s give them a reason to be afraid. Let’s stand together. Let’s win.
