Daily Call to Action – February 10th

Want to “win” every online debate you engage in on social platforms regarding the King Soopers strike? Well you can’t. No one ever wins online arguments. What you *can* do, however, is make an example of them while making your point. Remember, an online argument is a performance for anyone reading, and will never change the mind of the person you are engaging. Treat it as such.  If you support the Local King Sooper strikes, then here are some talking points to use for both when “they” are instigating an anti-union argument on social platforms (particularly NextDoor), and when they are responding negatively to others who are supporting it.

Daily Call to Action – February 7th, 2024

The time to act is now. Today is a day for reflection, but not for inaction. It is a day to ask yourself—how do you want to be involved? What matters most to you? Because make no mistake, the decisions we make today will define not just our own futures, but the future of democracy itself, and our actions will be the legacy of our commitment to our convictions. This war is one that will be fought online, and it is a war for the hearts and minds of the people around us. Those at the top would have us believe that our war is with each other. A battle of “left vs. right”, but we are not fighting each other, despite many on the right believing so. We are fighting to sustain our country, our families and the way of life that millions have fought and died for over the course of our nation’s history. It is important we not let their deaths be in vain, and that our Democracy and Republic survive this onslaught from within.
