Douglas County/Castle Rock NO KINGS National Day of Protest

There are a number of “NO KINGS” protests/rallies happening near us. A map from Indivisible showing where (some of) the events that are happening across the country can be found here.  Bring your phone for photos and communication as needed. Bring your own sign, American flag, water, sunscreen, wide brim hat or umbrella for shade, and folding chair if needed. Also, please note that a core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

• Douglas County: 2:30-4:30pm. Parking will be available at the Douglas County Fairgrounds (500 Fairgrounds Road) and other Town of Castle Rock-owned public garages and lots.If you have not signed up to attend the event yet, here is the link on Mobilize. NOTE: Even if you don’t live in Douglas County, they are looking for some help with this larger event.
