Stand up for Democracy! Join us on Saturday, June 14th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. for a peaceful demonstration. The simple but courageous act of showing up can send a powerful message to fellow citizens and the people we have chosen to be our representatives. If you are feeling discouraged and wondering how to get involved, bring a sign that speaks for you and stand with us.
The rally will be held on the sidewalks radiating from the intersection of West Bowles and South Santa Fe. This site offers great visibility and the interaction between demonstrators and drivers is encouraging. Please note that Littleton will be hosting their 96th Western Welcome Week parade from 10:00 to 11:30 that morning, but activities will taper off by 4:00 p.m. making parking more available.
Messaging will be discussed and materials will be provided at a Sign-making Lab the week before the rally (details will be provided when you register). In addition, you will be provided with more information about the rally. Bring your cell phone, water and plan for warm weather. We have taken precautions to assure your safety.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
